In 2022, SpeakOUT celebrated 50 years of telling personal stories to open minds and change attitudes about LGBTQ+ people. That’s a lot of stories! That’s hundreds of speakers and tens of thousands of people we’ve touched with our face-to-face speaking engagements. Huge social transformation has happened for our community since 1972, and we are proud to have made our contribution to those advances.

As the oldest LGBTQ+ speakers bureau in the U.S., we are loud (but not too loud) and proud to tell our personal stories wherever we are invited. Your gift to SpeakOUT strengthens our community education through storytelling and dialogue, and helps to create safer spaces in schools, colleges, workplaces, communities of faith and more for LGBTQ+ people.

As an online shopper, you can also help to support SpeakOUT each time you make a purchase at hundreds of online websites.
